What a price, just 130,000€ for a 4 Bed Villa with an 8 x 4 swimming pool and 4,000m2 of land with the added bonus of it is only a ten-minute walk into the lovely town of Salinas.
On the grounds are the pool, an outside toilet, a summer kitchen with a superb antique BBQ & Oven, and a Storage Room connected to the Summer Kitchen which means that there is potential to change the use and make a Guest House. A Vegetable Garden area, a Chicken Coop, a Kennel, and more than an acre unused apart from a few olive trees where you can plant more olive trees or almonds or other fruit trees.
There is just one neighbour, a charming Dutch couple, who is full-time and, interestingly, their house is similar and when it was reformed it sold for just under 220,000€. The plots of land to the other side are too small to be sold with building permission so the situation should never change. Access to the property is excellent with two different roads to choose from and asphalt all the way so not a problem if you have a large Motorhome or Caravan/Boat.
There is a very large covered terrace at the entrance to the property and glass curtains could be installed to give you a conservatory, alternatively, the foundations are in place to build out to extend the property, however, it is the perfect place to eat, relax, take a nap in the shade and, from our experience, this would be a place where much of your time is spent. The views across the pool, land, and towards the mountains are stunning and Salinas has four mountain ranges so there is always a breeze. There are electrical sockets on the terrace walls so you can put in a big screen TV and/or a music system and possibly a small fridge for some cool beers or a chilled bottle of wine.
You enter the well-sized lounge/diner which has a feature log-burning fireplace that helps to heat the whole house in the short winter months. The property is alarmed and there is a contact as you walk in. The kitchen is through to the right and is functional with plenty of workspace and cupboards and has natural light. The bathroom is further on the right and is newly fitted with a massage shower.
From the lounge/diner there is a hallway leading to the four bedrooms which means that the living and sleeping areas are separated, something I much prefer rather than the typical bedrooms accessed through doors in the lounge.
Three of the bedrooms are doubles and there is an easy way to alter the distribution and remove one bedroom, the smallest, to add an en-suite bathroom and a dressing area to the Principal Bedroom. Bear in mind that the cost of building here in Spain is much less than in the majority of European countries.
The property would benefit from an interior and exterior whitewash of the walls and this would give a much cleaner and brighter feel, however, the property has a lot of natural light already.
Structurally the property is sound and the interior is dry as a bone so the roof is in good order but probably needs a few tiles replacing.
All the photos and videos are taken without the use of filters or special lenses, check them out and you will see that this is an excellent opportunity to own what would be a superb finca in a lovely town. Salinas has a population of around 1,500 and is warm and friendly. There is an indoor and an outdoor public swimming pool, a Heath Centre, 2 Mini-Markets, Bakeries, Butchers, two Banks, a Pharmacy, and a school (primary, and secondary pupils can take a free bus to Sax eight minutes away). There are bars and restaurants including a very special paella restaurant located in one of the public parks.
