Imagine for a moment you have been blindfolded, nicely of course, and driven out to see a property without knowing how far you had travelled. You get out of the car and immediately love what you are seeing, the house, the land, the orchard, the pool, the gardens but you don´t want to live remotely in the middle of nowhere without a single neighbour in sight. 

The agent who has more or less kidnapped you turns round and says “you have neighbours, you just can´t see or hear them, oh and the town of Sax is just a 10-15 minute walk from here, or you can drive or cycle in a third of that time”. 

This is the situation that 75% of my clients want to experience, well, probably not the kidnapping bit but the beautiful villa that is very private yet is close enough to a town to walk to bars and restaurants with ease, just don´t try it on a hot July afternoon unless you take a 5 litre bottle of water with you. Enough of this rambling. 

This is one of the best locations ever in Sax and the 3 Bedroom Villa stands within over 12,000m2 of land which is around 3 acres in old money. It has everything you would expect from a Spanish villa with quite a bit more besides. I have never seen so many outbuildings/sheds and all of them on good order, perfect for someone who wants a workshop or to increase accommodation or both. 

There is a private driveway leading to the property from an almost perfect road, no country tracks, no 4x4 needed. The property is hidden away at the bottom of the road and there are two carports and loads of parking space. 

You enter the property via the massive conservatory that serves as a stunning room in winter when the sunshine warms it up an equally stunning room the rest of the year for relaxing, watching TV, reading, listening to music,  or whatever you want, it´s huge. 

Entering the house itself there is a fabulous hallway, very Spanish and great use of stone which means that the interior will stay quite cool in the middle of summer. To the right is a small reception room and then a large lounge/diner with a feature fireplace and then a very large beautifully fitted kitchen with one of the largest walk-in pantries I have ever seen. 

To the left side of the property are the three bedrooms and an office space. The master bedroom has an open fire which can be adapted to have a pellet fire installed or anything you want but it looks amazing, there is also a dressing room accessed by two of the bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and loads of storage. 

The bathroom is beautiful and large and has been adapted for disability and it´s very modern, I love it, I love wet-room type walk-in showers. 

The property has central heating, mains electricity and mains water. 

There is a Guest House within the garden area that has a bedroom and a lounge/diner/bar but a bathroom can easily be added as there is space to knock through behind the bar and it is a straightforward job. 

Next to the Guest House is a stone pizza oven, an outdoor kitchen and a covered BBQ all in keeping with the Spanish style. 

The vast garden area is all low maintenance and includes a lovely swimming pool and lots of seating areas that are covered or shaded. 

There are at least two wooden sheds, both could be workshops and the land with the olive tree orchard is separated from the rest of the property where there are also birdcages, chicken coops, pheasants and a goat. The goat is adorable, trust me this is an adorable goat and runs around with the chickens. 

I´ve probably forgotten other outbuildings as there are definitely more and everything is completely dry. The quality of the build of the villa is first class. It is an outstanding property that, if you have the budget, is a must-see.
