Description

Where do I begin? Breath-taking in more ways than one. First of all the location, in the most sought-after zone in Sax, 35 minutes at most to Alicante Airport and 40 minutes at most to the beaches of the Costa Blanca. When you are at the property, sitting on the terrace with the winter sun beaming down as I was this morning with the owner, you could imagine that you are in the middle of nowhere but it isn´t even anywhere near remote and there are neighbors as can be seen from the location guide, but there is hardly a sound because of the part of the plot the property has been built on. All around are magnificent views of the mountains that are within walking distance and, of course, there is a splendid view of the iconic castle of Sax. I could have just sat there all day with a glass of wine and a good book completely stress-free.

The exterior, beautiful walled gate posts with remote controlled gates open to a driveway that takes you past the full-size tennis court and to ten along the side of the Villa to the front which appears as a kind of courtyard with a six-car carport at the top, the stunning pool o the right and also the enormous Summer Kitchen that would easily convert into a Guest House and the Villa is now behind you. You can actually drive all the way around the pool and come back out, I love those rare things like that.

The BBQ area is lovely and there is a shower and toilet for the swimming pool close by. The land is sectioned off so the olive groves are behind the carport. The land is currently looked after by a neighbour who would continue if required and bring you 100 litres of olive oil or so from the yield and a bucket full of almonds. The Summer Kitchen is a very Spanish thing and the vast majority of the cooking is done on the BBQ or in the Summer Kitchen if there is one and rarely is the interior kitchen used. Some of our clients get to love the Spanish way and some immediately convert them into Guest Houses, the choice is yours. From the size, we would guestimate that a 2 Bed Guest House can easily be formed.

The main house has two entrances, the most immediate is from the steps at the side of the BBQ area up to the magnificent L-Shaped covered terrace which means that you can have the sunshine or the shade all day just by moving slightly. There are four bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs all are fitted out with the highest quality wardrobes and the interior doors are all matching and were made by a revered carpenter. Naturally, the Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom Everything is quality, the log fire is simply outstanding with an oven above it for pizzas or bread, etc. The interior wooden staircase is gorgeous and it leads up to a beautiful balcony. I´m running out of superlatives so check out the photos and video and the location.
