This house of 100m2, a very decent size with a lot of potential and is on an excellent plot of 7000m2. We love the expression "in need of TLC2 as often it is used next to a photograph of a pile of bricks but in this case, it does need a fair amount of TLC but structurally it is in very good order. The interior has probably not been touched since the day the property was built so if you like the impoverished 60´s look then you can keep it exactly as it is but I feel you will at the very least want to whitewash the walls. The furniture is included in the sale which is unlikely to be the dealbreaker but it will save the owners from hiring a skip.
There is a lounge/diner with a feature log-burning fireplace, a kitchen with some delightful curtains instead of cupboard doors. The good news is that there is a B&Q style of warehouse not a million miles away and a brand new kitchen can be purchased for a very small amount of money.
The bathroom is "interesting". I would classify it in the same way as the kitchen and you should pick one up at B&Q.
The exterior is very good with a nice sized covered terrace and your own swimming pool. The swimming pool is the above-ground style which was originally a water deposit before the water was connected. There is nothing to stop you from "sinking" the pool providing you keep to the same footprint, alternatively, if you want a bigger pool then it is far easier to get licenses than ever before.
Not having mains electricity is not such a bad thing due to the outrageous cost it is today. There are some excellent Solar ower Systems that can be bought online that have an option to pay for an installation package as well, there is an example within the photos. Expect to pay no more than 5,000€ including installation for the same power as you would receive from mains electricity but without the bills.
AIn all seriousness the "doer uppers" are ew and far between these days and this, at the price of 85,000€, represents great value for money and an opportunity for almost everyone to have a home in Spain for full-time living or a holiday home.
The house has water but no electricity, but can be conected.
Outside there is a good sized pool and a nice terrace to enjoy those summer nights.
It is about 10 km from Yecla.
