Located just over 1km from the lovely town of Sax and 30 minutes drive from Alicante Airport and no more than 35 minutes drive to a choice of beautiful beaches and it has excellent access with all tarmac roads. The gates to the driveway will probably not be sufficient for some of the larger Motorhomes. If you have a large Motorhome then please send dimensions before asking to view. So, the double gates that can be adapted easily to be remotely controlled open up to a spacious driveway and a massive garage that has been used as both a garage and a workshop but can easily be reformed and made into a big Guest House, we estimate that a 2 Bed 1 Bath with a small lounge could be possible.

The big covered terrace (35m2) is a great area to relax with a glass of wine or a beer and look across the orchard full of olive trees and to the mountains in the distance. Inside the Villa is a long lounge/diner, typically Spanish with a feature log burning fireplace and three double bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen that is bigger than I expected as Spanish kitchens in Country Properties are normally very small due to the majority of the cooking being done outside on the BBQ and this property has a lovely BBQ area as well.

There are mains electricity and water and also a traditional well for collecting rainwater that was common prior to being mains connected. The annual SUMA (rates to you and I) are, wait for this, less than 150€ per year, yes per year not per month. Water connection each year is 120€ which gives you 1.5 million litres of water and to fill the pool would cost 12€ at most. Electricity cost is similar, perhaps a little cheaper than the UK but, because of the all-year-round sunshine, you use much less.

There is one neighbour who lives all year round and one other neighbour who uses their Villa for some weekends and the month of August. Sax has full employment, subsequently, the crime rate is ridiculously low and it´s a superb town full of restaurants, cafes, bars, and three supermarkets.

In our opinion, this is an amazing opportunity at an extremely good price and is being sold due to the advanced age of the proprietors who don´t get use out of it. Please check out the video on the web page for a better idea of the features.
